James Vissari is the recent 2nd place winner in the Plein Ari Magazine competition. He was recently quoted with an illustration in Outdoor Painter, "Just do the Preliminary Sketch- and 25 Other Painting Aha Moments". He recently had an appearance on WASH-FM Toby & Chilli mornings show talking about his passion for creating artwork.
James Vissari teaches drawing and color classes for all skill levels of artist. James attended the Corcoran School of Art, Montgomery College, and the University of Maryland where he received his degrees. He is the past President of the Montgomery Art Association in Kensington, MD. Influenced by Impressionists artists and landscapes as well as realist artists, James is tenacious and prolific in the pursuit and production of artwork. James creates his artwork with the intent of preserving memories. His work is on display in exhibits around the state of Maryland. His work is internationally collected.
From Wheaton Maryland, he now resides in rural Poolesville, MD.
